Remix Package and Dance To My Pain Tour Announcement

The Boat People want you to find the antidote to musical boredom – dance it away. They are providing this salve to their fans via radio in the form of a brand, spanking new double A-side and remix package. 

This package for radio features the one, two hit of anti-boredom of The Boat People’s latest Dear Darkly album cuts 'Antidote', a special radio edit of 'Dance to My Pain' and additional remixes by No Device and Ming the Merciless. The selected tracks, 'Dance to My Pain' and 'Antidote' with their upbeat, dance vibes were perfect candidates for remixing and dance party radio playlists.

No Device brings the beats for remixes of both tracks - 'Antidote' and 'Dance to Pain' and Ming the Merciless bust out their 'Antidote Pantydote' remix. The opening two tracks of the package (a radio edit of 'Dance to My Pain' and 'Antidote') were written by James O’Brien, who also penned The Boat People’s triple j-spun track, 'Damn Defensive'.

To celebrate these tracks hitting radiowaves around Australia, The Boat People are hitting venues throughout Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Joining them on tour will be support from special guests Jewel and the Falcon - featuring members of Red Sun Band and Youth Group the band will add their girl/boy indie-pop guitar flavour to shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

This completes what has been a busy and fantastic year for The Boat People - a headline album tour, The Bedroom Philosopher tour,  the release of their album, Dear Darkly and the three subsequent singles, 'Soporific', 'Under The Ocean' and 'Echo Stick Guitars'.
