Hey Geronimo are a Frankenstein make up of Brisbane indie%u2010pop bands, Blame Ringo, The Boat
People and Montpelier, and they're bringing their kooky, upbeat brand of party music to the people.
The supergroup are fresh from supports with Owl Eyes, Nantes, Ernest Ellis, Ball Park Music, & The
Jungle Giants and tour dates on the road with Faker.
Their hit singles, Why Don’t We Do Something? and Carbon Affair have been on high rotation on
Triple J, and have been featured on national and international ad campaigns and television shows.
The film clip for Why Don’t We Do Something went viral/feral as it made international news, was the
most played clip in Australia (for a while until that Gotye guy took over) and attracted over 800,000
The band’s debut EP, recorded with Magoo (Regurgitator) and Matt Redlich (Hungry Kids of Hungary,
Ball Park Music) is available in stores from July 1.

“Hey Geronimo have the crowd on their feet from beginning to end. Any set that has the crowd doing
the twist and the nutbush simultaneously is something to be seen. The band's enthusiasm and energy
is infectious and it's truly refreshing to see a group of musicians having such a blast up on stage. The
energy in the room reaches a fever pitch as James O'Brien from The Boat People joins the band for a
sensational cover of Burning Down The house by Talking Heads, and as they finish with what is sure to
be a summer hit Why Don't We Do Something, it's clear that Hey Geronimo are without a shadow of a
doubt addictive and flawless performers” %u2010 Sam Hobson & Siobhan McDonnel, Timeoff Magazine
